Before you start
- Have the 10-digit Call Kettle number we gave you handy. We send it to you during setup, and it is also on your dashboard.
- Use a different phone to test when you finish (the next guide shows how).
- You can do this on the phone with us. Call or email and we stay on the line while you set it up.
Dialpad
Check with your carrier Dialpad's help articles blocked our automated reading, so we only know the outline, not the exact menus.
- Dialpad has a help article called "Call Forwarding" and separate routing rules for departments and contact centers in Admin Settings.
- An administrator manages routing for the main line and departments. Ask your Dialpad administrator to route calls (all calls, or only when no one answers or when you are closed) to the 10-digit Call Kettle number.
- Or call or email us and we stay on the line with your administrator while the setting is made.

Next: test it with a call from another phone. If you ever want your phone back: turn forwarding off.
