How to turn call forwarding off

You can switch forwarding off yourself at any time. Here is how, by carrier.

Forwarding is a setting on your phone line, so you control it. Turning it off sends calls back to your phone straight away.

Turn it off

Your lineTo turn forwarding off
Verizon wireless or landlineDial *73 and wait for the tone.
T-MobileDial ##21# for all-calls forwarding, ##61# for no-answer, ##67# for busy and ##62# for not-reachable. ##004# resets all forwarding.
Comcast Business Voice*73 (always), *91 (busy), *93 (no answer), *59 (not reachable).
Ooma Office*73, or turn it off in Call Handling in the Ooma portal.
Vonage home line*73
AT&T, Spectrum, RingCentral, Dialpad and othersCheck with your carrier Use the steps on that carrier's guide here, or ask your carrier.
Nextiva, Vonage Business, Grasshopper, 8x8Open the same admin screen you used to set it and turn it off, as described on that carrier's guide.

Pause is not the same as off

Pause answering in your dashboard (Setup) makes us stop answering for a while. Callers still reach a short automated message that takes their details. It does not touch your phone line. To stop calls reaching Call Kettle at all, turn forwarding off on your line.

When you cancel

You are responsible for turning off call forwarding when you cancel, and we help on request: tell us your carrier and we do it with you on the phone. Details are in how to cancel.

Cannot remember what you set? Call your carrier and ask them to cancel all call forwarding on the line, or call us and we look it up with you.
